Finding your way around
Find your pages, your files, and help when you need it.
After signing in, Home shows your website sections and recently edited pages. Choose a section, such as Pages or Products, to start working.
Open the content counts when you want to check progress. Published means visitors can see it; Draft means it is still private; Needs review means it is waiting for a colleague; Scheduled means it is waiting for its publishing time.
The sidebar
The sidebar groups tools by task. On a phone, press Menu to open it. Some sections open when you press their heading; what you see also depends on your account permissions.
- Home, Photos & files, Ask Inky, and Help are the everyday shortcuts. Ask Inky is available to people who can write content.
- Pages opens your website pages directly in their editor. Content holds lists such as Books, Products, and Posts. To change a catalog’s layout or introduction, open its page; to change a book, open Books. Shared content holds supporting details used across pages.
- Social media holds your posts and calendar. More tools holds extras that have been switched on, with each tool named beside its screen.
- Manage website holds Website menus, Categories, Trash, and settings. Advanced setup is for the person who builds or connects your site; you can leave it closed for everyday editing.
Press your name or picture at the bottom to open your account menu. Choose Change password or Sign out.
The search box
The box along the top searches everything you have written and every picture you have uploaded. Press ⌘K (or Ctrl+K) from anywhere to jump into it without reaching for the mouse.
