Signing in
Where to go, what to type, and what to do if you are the very first person here.
Your Inkling lives at its own web address — usually your website's address with /admin on the end. Whoever set it up will have sent it to you. Bookmark it.
You will see a box asking for an email address and a password. Type the ones you were given and press Sign in. That is the whole thing.
If nobody has used it yet
The very first visit to a brand new Inkling looks slightly different: instead of asking you to sign in, it asks you to create the first account. Fill it in and that account becomes the owner — the person who can do everything, including adding everyone else.
This only happens once. After the first account exists, that screen becomes the ordinary sign-in form and nobody can use it to create a second account. There is no public sign-up, ever.
If you have forgotten your password
Ask a colleague with the admin or owner role to set you a new one from the Users screen. If you are the only person here, whoever set your Inkling up can reset it from the server with a single command — send them the phrase bun run password and they will know what to do.
