Scheduling something for later
Write it today, let it appear on Friday, without being at your desk.
Save what you have written, then open Schedule for later in the Publishing panel and choose a date and time. The label changes to scheduled and the entry sits waiting.
When the moment arrives it publishes itself. You do not need to be signed in, and nobody needs to press anything.
The safety net
When the time comes, Inkling checks the entry against your site's current shape before publishing it. If somebody has changed what a Page requires in the meantime, and this one no longer has everything it needs, it moves to Needs review instead of going out incomplete.
So a scheduled post can quietly become a reviewable one. That is the system protecting you, not a fault — but it is worth glancing at the dashboard on the morning something important is due.
